Rooted

Rooted is a new startup offering a service to pet parents. Rooted is all about honoring pets and our planet in the natural pet loss process.

Rooted noticed that the way the US manages pet loss today is quite archaic and harmful to the environment. In the past 18 months, Rooted has pioneered a new technology harnessing nature and a little science to gently break down a pet in the most natural manner possible. The end result is usable, nutrient rich soil (think composting with a twist) that can be returned to the pet parent and/or donated to a cause such as urban reforestation or park restoration projects. Rooted will be available some time in 2017.
